Klaus Oestermann is the Chief Executive Officer of IGEL Technology – The Secure Endpoint OS for Now & Next. Since joining IGEL in 2023, Klaus has been the driving force behind the significant growth and repositioning the company as a key leader in endpoint security with the IGEL Preventative Security Model™.

Klaus is known for his exceptional ability to combine strong team-building skills with financial acumen, along with expertise in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, product positioning, product development, and strategic partnerships. Prior to his role at IGEL, Klaus served as the CEO of Bluerock Systems. He is perhaps best known for his 18-year tenure at Citrix Systems, where he held various key executive roles. For the past 11 years, he served as the company’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Networking Division, where he played a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and enhancing its market position. Klaus’s career began at IBM, where he built a strong foundation in technology, before going on to serve as the CEO of CMA Systems.

In addition to his executive roles, Klaus has been an active figure in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem, contributing as an investor, advisor, and board member to several breakthrough innovation companies. His involvement spans a diverse range of innovative firms, including The Fabric Venture Funds, Mesh7 (VMware), Iotium (View), Zigna (eSoft), Rancher Labs (SUSE), Spanugo (IBM), CloudVolumes (VMware), and Cotendo (Akamai).

Maner has decades of experience in the EUC and cloud computing industry. At Nutanix, as the Chief Commercial Officer, he has been instrumental in the hybrid multi cloud transition of the company as the market leader. He currently leads global go-to-market ecosystems, business, and corporate development efforts. Before joining Nutanix, he served as Chairman and CEO at Nexenta Systems, Inc., a leader in open source-based Software Defined Data Centre, leading the organization from its open-source community-centric startup state to hybrid cloud and high-performance computing enterprise market leadership through its acquisition by DataDirect Networks (DDN) in May 2019.

Prior to Nexenta, he was the President and CEO at Wyse Technology, the inventor of Cloud Client Computing segment one of the leading virtual desktop computing pioneers acquired by Dell in 2012. He also held executive roles at Dell, CA Technologies, IBM, and Sterling Software. Tarkan serves and has served on the boards of several market leading organizations including Invicti, Teradici, CloudCheckr, Wheels, and leading non-profit organizations and associations in Silicon Valley, including Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Tarkan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering management from Istanbul Technical University, an MBA from Midwestern State University and an AMP from Harvard Business School.

In seiner Rolle als Executive Chairman bei IGEL bringt Bill Veghte jahrzehntelange Erfahrung in der Betriebssystementwicklung und eine breite kommerzielle und technische Führungskompetenz im Softwarebereich ein. Bill Veghte leitete die Entwicklung und schließlich das Geschäft von Windows über eine Vielzahl von Versionen und Instanzen vom Client über den Server bis hin zu Embedded-Versionen als Programmmanager, als General Manager und schließlich als SVP. Er war bei Microsoft für Vertrieb, Services und Marketing in Nordamerika verantwortlich. Zudem war Veghte EVP von HPs Enterprise-Geschäft und COO bei HP. Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat er eine Vielzahl von Startups und etablierten Unternehmen beraten und in verschiedenen Funktionen unterstützt. Als Aufsichtsratsmitglied und CEO Advisor war er unter anderem für Xero, Mural, SurveyMonkey, Turbonomic, View und Venafi tätig. Bill Veghte ist Gründer und geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von AthenePartners, die mit CEOs wie Jed Ayres und führenden Investoren wie TA zusammenarbeiten, um Unternehmen und Branchen zu verändern. Bill hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss der Harvard University.

John Meeks ist Managing Director bei TA Associates und konzentriert sich auf Investitionen in Internet- und Software-Unternehmen. Er ist seit 2012 Mitglied des Core Investment und Portfolio Committees von TA. Zuvor war er Co-Leiter der North America Technology Group von TA und Mitglied des Management Committees von TA. Meeks kam 1997 zu TA und verfügt über mehr als 22 Jahre Erfahrung in der Private-Equity-Branche, darunter mehr als sechs Jahre, in denen er die Expansion des europäischen Büros von TA unterstützte. Er hat einen Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematik mit Auszeichnung von der Yale University.

Stefan ist ein Principal bei TA Associates und konzentriert sich auf Investitionen in Technologie- und Finanzdienstleistungsunternehmen in EMEA. Er leitet zudem die Geschäfte von TA in den deutschsprachigen Ländern über alle Sektoren hinweg. Stefan hat einen BA-Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaftslehre von der Universität St. Gallen (HSG).

Heiko Gloge ist ein Pfeiler der internationalen Endpoint-Community. Er begann 1988 bei Melchers und war dort zunächst General Manager der Abteilung NetCom, aus der im Jahr 2001 das unabhängige Tochterunternehmen IGEL Technology GmbH hervorging. Er war 2002 einer der Mitbegründer des European Endpoint Forum und ist derzeit Vorsitzender des Arbeitskreises „Endpoint & Server Based Computing“ in dem in Deutschland äußert einflussreichen IT-Branchenverband BITKOM. Heiko Gloge stammt aus Norddeutschland und hat das Computerhandwerk von Grund auf an verschiedenen Einrichtungen studiert.

Nicolas Helms ist geschäftsführender Partner der Melchers Group, der Muttergesellschaft der IGEL Technology GmbH. Er stammt aus Bremen und verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrung im Bereich des internationalen Handels, die er bei seinen Tätigkeiten in sechs verschiedenen Ländern auf vier Kontinenten gesammelt hat. Im Jahr 1994 wurde er zum Director von Melchers Hongkong ernannt. Seit 2000 ist Nicolas Helms Geschäftsführer der C. Melchers GmbH & Co. KG. Er war einer der beiden Geschäftsführer, die 2001 die IGEL Technology GmbH als ein Tochterunternehmen von Melchers gründeten. Nicolas Helms erlangte an der Universität von Zürich den Titel „Bachelor of Business Administration“ (BBA) und an der Boston University den Titel „Master of Business Administration“ (MBA).
