Surpassing Compaq, HP and Dell, IGEL becomes the #1 thin client supplier in Germany a position they’ve held to this day.

IGEL 1.0 Formed
After the original IGEL files bankruptcy, Heiko re-invents IGEL with a core group of Augsburg-based developers, manufacturing Linux thin client hardware and headquartered in Bremen.

Netcom Becomes Master Distributor in Germany for IGEL 0.0
The original IGEL existed as a publicly-traded German hardware manufacturer based in Augsburg. Their products are represented across Germany by Netcom as the Master Distributor.

Heiko Gloge Creates Netcom
As a first for Melchers, Heiko establishes within the company a value-added tech reseller.
