CD8842/44 thin clients are equipped with proprietary AMD® Ryzen™ Embedded V1605B, quad-core processor with AMD “Vega” graphics core architecture (8CU) and up to 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM dual-channel SDRAM memory to deliver high-end graphics and excellent computing performance for cloud computing and VDI applications. For users who have long term support requirements, the CD8842/44 Thin Clients’ processor is from AMD’s embedded roadmap. A feature-rich design provides six USB ports, four DisplayPorts, one SFP NIC that can be populated with Fiber or Copper SFP module, optional dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated smart card reader on model CD8844, all in a small-form factor device.
